Getting Started
If you have just installed the Akiles system in your first property, it is highly recommended that you read this documet, where we explain the basic concepts of Akiles.
-
Members. From here you can create digital keys and send them to whoever you want so that your employees, clients, family or friends can access the spaces you desire. You can choose between sending the invitation by email or through “Magic Link”. Additionally, you can also configure the start and end date of the digital key, so that its use will only be valid during those dates.
In the following section you will find more details about Members.
-
Groups. From here you can create sets of access permissions that will be shared by all Members who belong to a specific group. You can associate Gadgets (actionable mechanism with an Akiles device), Schedules and even Geolocation restrictions to the group. This functionality is very useful when for the same space you have groups of people with different access permissions (such as cleaning staff, guests, or employees of different categories, among others).
In the following section you will find more details about Groups.
- Sites. In this section you can edit the information of all the sites where you have Akiles for access and limit opening by geolocation. You can also add additional information, such as an email or contact phone number, so that it appears in the App or Web App to all Members who have access to the site.
In the following section you will find more details about Sites.
- Devices. Here you can view all the Akiles devices you have installed in the different sites of your organization. From this section you can perform remote openings, check the battery status of the devices, as well as their connectivity status (Online or Offline). If the device appears as Offline, it means it cannot connect to the Akiles Cloud due to lack of Internet or batteries.
In the following section you will find more details about Devices.
-
Alerts: In this section you can check the active Alerts in your organization. These alerts can be for Low battery (-15% battery) or for Disconnected device. In the case of low battery alert, an immediate battery change is recommended. In the case of Disconnected device, clicking on the alert will show you why it is disconnected and instructions on how to solve it.
-
Schedules. From here you can create as many access time slots as you want. Once these schedules are created, you can associate them with a specific Group. For example, in a Group created for cleaning staff, you can limit access to the Schedule that you have previously configured.
In the following section you will find more details about Schedules.
- Logs. In this section you can check who, when and where a member has accessed. The information will always be updated in real time, and you can filter by Member, Date and Time and Site, among others. In this section you can also see all the edits that administrators have made.
In the following section you will find more details about Logs.
- API. Through our public API you can implement the functionalities of all the services that Akiles offers you in your own applications or in third-party ones.
All API documentation is available at API Documentation.
- Administrators. In this section you can manage the different roles available for users of the Admin Panel.
If you want to know more about how to manage roles, go to Administrators.
