Administrators
In this section you can manage who has access to the Akiles administration panel and what they can do within it. This allows you to delegate system management to other people without needing to give them full access to all sites. To create an administrator you must:
- Enter their email address
- Select the role they will have
- Choose which site or sites that role will apply to
Administrator roles
The role defines what that administrator can do within the system. For example, an administrator can:
- Manage the configuration of one or several sites
- View information, without being able to make changes, of one or several sites
This allows you to assign different levels of access according to each person’s needs. The different roles that exist in Akiles are:
- technician_readonly
- oauth_application_readonly
- oauth_application_admin
- read_only
- admin
Access by site
Administrator access can be limited to specific sites. This means that an administrator, with whichever role is chosen, will only be able to see or manage the part of the system corresponding to the sites assigned to them.
For example: if you manage 6 sites, you can give a person access so they only see or manage one of them. This way each administrator has the role and access only to the part of the system that corresponds to them.
