Slack
The Slack integration posts Akiles events and alerts to a Slack channel. Use it to stream door openings, admin actions, or hardware alerts into a channel your team is already watching.
Connecting Slack
- In the Akiles admin panel, go to Integrations and create a new Slack integration.
- Click the Connect to Slack button. You will be redirected to Slack’s OAuth consent screen.
- Sign in to your Slack workspace and pick the channel you want messages delivered to. Slack will return you to Akiles.
Once connected, you will see the workspace name and the connected channel. Click Reconnect to switch to a different workspace or channel.
The integration uses Slack’s incoming webhook scope. It can post to one channel and nothing else — it can’t read messages, list users, or post anywhere else.
If you want to post to multiple Slack channels, create multiple Slack integrations.
Choosing what to deliver
Slack messages are produced by the same notification system as Discord and Telegram. See Notification rules for the four toggles (gadget actions, admin actions, alerts, custom rules) that control which events are sent.
