Akiles Gateway Wi-Fi
The Akiles Gateway Wi-Fi is a device that:
- Requires electrical power
- Connects to the Akiles Cloud through a Wi-Fi connection to the nearest router or access point
- Emits a Bluetooth 5 signal to which other nearby Akiles devices connect (at a distance not exceeding 15m-20m)
Its function is to allow Akiles devices that do not connect directly to the Akiles Cloud to communicate with the Akiles Cloud. Thanks to the Akiles Gateway Wi-Fi device it is possible to:
- Open doors remotely from the App or WebApp
- Synchronize configuration changes in real time (create new user permissions, edit existing user permissions and/or delete existing access permissions)
- Send events and activity to the Akiles system
- Improve connection stability in installations with many devices
This device is useful when the router is more than 15m away from the access points, good Wi-Fi signal reaches them, and these are not electrified access points or automated systems.
