How to assign tags?

Once you have created your tags (see How to create a tag), you can attach them to your members, groups, sites, devices, and gadgets.

Assigning tags

You can assign tags either when creating an object or by editing an existing one:

• Go to the section of the object you want to tag — Members, Groups, Sites, Devices, or Gadgets.
• Open an existing object (or click New to create one).
• Find the Tags field.
• Add or remove tags from the list. Only tags whose Applies to includes the current object type will be available.
• Click Submit to save.

You can attach as many tags as you want to the same object.

Removing a tag from an object

• Open the object.
• In the Tags field, remove the tag from the list.
• Click Submit to save.

This only removes the tag from that one object. The tag itself, and its assignments to other objects, are not affected.

Deleting a tag

If you no longer need a tag at all:

• Go to the Tags section.
• Open the tag.
• Click Delete.

The tag will be removed from every object it was assigned to.
