Billing Account
A billing account is the entity responsible for paying for services associated with Akiles. These include payment for devices, installations, and/or subscriptions. From a billing account, all aspects related to payments are managed, such as:
- Tax information
- Payment methods (which can be by card or SEPA)
- Active subscriptions
- Invoices
A billing account can have multiple billing administrators who can also view invoices and manage payment methods. Billing administrators do not necessarily need to have access to the organization’s admin panel since operational management and billing are separate entities.

Practical Example
You have Akiles installed in your company and you are the person in charge of creating and deleting member permissions, but you are not the one leading the financial side. In this case, your company would have the following:
- An organization where only you and whoever you choose will have administrator permissions to manage everything related to the Akiles system
- A billing account where the person managing the financial side can access.
