[Q4 2025] Akiles devices now remember their last state after eventual Cloud disconnection
Now, when an Akiles device temporarily loses connection to the Cloud —for example, due to an Internet or power outage— and reconnects, it automatically recovers the last state it was in.
This is possible thanks to a “state memory” that Akiles stores on its server, guaranteeing consistent behavior even after connectivity interruptions.
For example, if the Unlock action (permanent unlock) has been applied to a device that controls access to a meeting room that must remain open, when the connection is restored the device will return to that last state (unlocked) instead of automatically locking.
If you are interested in enabling the Unlock (permanent unlock) and Lock (permanent lock) actions on the devices in your organization, please contact our Customer Support department at soporte@akiles.app.
