[Q2 2025] It's now possible to use third-party cards with Akiles devices

If your company already uses cards for operations other than access control —such as lockers, printers, or vending machines—, you’ll be interested to know that you can now also use these cards with the Akiles system.

To activate this functionality, you just need to contact our Customer Growth team. You can do this by writing an email to info@akiles.app.

Keep in mind that you’ll need to accept specific security conditions to use these third-party cards, since Akiles cards incorporate advanced security protocols —MIFARE DESFire EV3— that are not present in most cards on the market.
