Help: Battery Replacement
In the “Devices” section you can see the device’s battery percentage. It’s located right next to the connection status (online/offline). You’ll also receive an alert when the battery is low.
The Roomlock and Cylinder use 4 AAA batteries while the Pinpad uses 3 AAA batteries. It’s highly recommended to change the battery before it’s completely drained, although in emergency cases you can plug a micro USB cable into the port you’ll find on the front of the locks. This will allow the door to restart and power on long enough to open the door and perform the replacement from the interior part of the device.
The Cylinder V2 uses one X1 CR2 3V battery. Unlike the others, it doesn’t have a micro USB port since the batteries are located in the exterior knob.
-
Roomlock: you must slide upward the black cover located on the interior part of the lock and change the batteries respecting the polarity.
-
Cylinder: you must remove the interior knob using a Phillips screwdriver and change the batteries respecting the polarity.
-
Cylinder V2: you must remove the exterior knob using the supplied tool, remove the battery from the battery holder and place the new one respecting the polarity.
-
Pinpad: it’s necessary to remove the front keypad assembly using the provided key, loosening the fixing screw located at the bottom of the metal casing and place the new ones (3 x AAA) respecting the indicated polarity.
